The "Fronteira Channel" is the former "Web TV Fronteira". "Web TV Fronteira" was founded on February 17, 2015, and officially went live on July 3, 2017. In this new phase, its name was changed to "Fronteira Channel" (so that, together with the other two new channels that will appear during this year: "Fronteira Movies" and "Fronteira Kids", giving more meaning to a network with three channels), however, its programming has not changed. The "Web TV Fronteira" is the junction of the three channels. "Web TV Fronteira", ended its cycle definitively, at 20:00 hours on February 5, 2022, thus giving way to the premiere of "Fronteira Channel", which aired shortly after its closure.
