TNE, short for Televisión Nacional Evangélica, is a Chilean channel that has offered family programming for the evangelical Christian community since 2008. Mornings open with music, Reflexiones Matinales and La Biblia en tu vida, followed by the Matinal magazine, Club 700 and Te Escuchamos, a national prayer line.
Health is a big part of the schedule, with Doctor en casa TV, Salud Natural, Salud Dental and a programme for older viewers. There are also interviews on Entrevistas TNE, the magazine Mundo Cristiano, the animated Bible series SuperLibro 3D for children and new series such as Bomberos sin límite, about firefighters. Late nights bring Cine trasnoche.
The channel is backed by the Fundación Para Vivir en un Mundo Mejor, a non-profit inspired by Christian values, and aims to promote those values through entertainment, education, news and culture. Programmes are in Spanish, a good option for Spanish-speaking Christian families abroad.
