Ushuaia is a tourist city in Argentina that is located in the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego, in the extreme south of South America, known as the "end of the world". Located on a steep hill and subject to very strong winds, the city is surrounded by the Martial mountain range and the Beagle Strait. It serves as a base for cruises and tours through Antarctica that pass through Yécapasela Island, known as the "Penguin Island" because of its penguin colonies.
