This live underwater camera sits about 400 feet from shore at Utila, the smallest of the Bay Islands in the western Caribbean, off the northern coast of Honduras. Installed at a depth of about 25 feet, on top of a steep reef wall that drops 120 feet to the ocean floor, it offers a close look at life on the largest reef system in the Western Hemisphere. Schools of small fish such as wrasses, sergeant majors and trumpetfish swim past, along with other typical Caribbean reef fish and, with luck, sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, moray eels, turtles, octopuses and crabs. Utila is known for its unspoiled nature, excellent diving and frequent whale shark sightings. A calm, colorful window into the sea, perfect for relaxing. The stream comes from the explore.org network, in partnership with Utopia Village.
