Televisa Guadalajara, known locally as Canal 4, is Televisa's regional station in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Its Spanish-language schedule is made for Guadalajara, and news is at the centre of it: Las Noticias, produced under the N+ brand, has a 1 p.m. edition hosted by Rocío López Ruelas and Juan Carlos Robles, plus weekend formats such as El debate and Los reporteros.
Beyond the newscasts there is Que Pokar!, a celebrity and entertainment show, the sports programme Somos los campeones, films, health and wellness slots and Sunday Mass. Security, traffic, weather and local politics fill much of each bulletin.
Over the air it is found on virtual channel 4.1 as XHG-TDT, and the signal also reaches Puerto Vallarta. For anyone from Jalisco living abroad, it is a simple way to keep up with home.
