Disney Channel is the Walt Disney Company's flagship kids and family channel in the United States, based in Burbank, California. Its lineup is aimed mainly at children and young teens aged 6 to 14, with original live-action comedies, animated series, made-for-TV movies and musical specials.
On CXTv the feed comes from Disney Channel's official YouTube channel, which brings together full episodes, show clips, shorts, compilations, music videos and behind-the-scenes moments with the cast. It is an easy way for kids to catch up with their favourite characters and discover new series.
The channel launched on 18 April 1983 as The Disney Channel, originally programmed for the whole family, and dropped "The" from its name in 1997 when it shifted its focus to kids and tweens. The videos are in English, which also makes them handy for young language learners.
