CARAC1, formerly known as Rouge TV, is a live French-language entertainment channel aimed at viewers in French-speaking Switzerland. It has a broad, accessible schedule built around cinema, music and locally produced shows, making it a practical choice for people who want varied television rather than a lineup focused only on hard news or nonstop sport.
On air, viewers will usually find films across different parts of the day, music blocks, short interview formats, gaming and pop culture segments, and programs connected to everyday life in Romandy. The flow often shifts between continuous music windows and studio-based or regional productions, so the channel feels grounded in local culture while still keeping a general entertainment profile that is easy to follow.
