TVMonaco is the public television channel of the Principality of Monaco, launched by Prince Albert II on 1 September 2023. It broadcasts mainly in French and is built on four pillars: news, sport, the environment and the art of living. The weekday bulletin L'Actu covers the principality and the French Riviera.
Sport is told through people: Le Match dans le Match follows Monaco's athletes and clubs, from table tennis to rugby sevens, and long interviews with drivers such as Mika Häkkinen look back at Formula 1 and its famous street circuit. Wildlife and society documentaries fill much of the schedule, alongside Le Club Francophone, a books and ideas show, and Info ou Mytho, which checks popular claims against the facts.
The channel is a partner of TV5Monde and has been a full member of the European Broadcasting Union since March 2024. Based in Fontvieille, it uses the slogan "Regardez, ça n'a rien à voir" and sets out to tackle global topics from a tiny territory. A good pick for French learners, motorsport fans and anyone curious about life on the Riviera.
