San Diego is a live camera feed that switches between several waterfront viewpoints in Southern California. Instead of staying on one fixed shot, it rotates through views of Downtown San Diego, San Diego Bay, parts of the coast and the Pacific Ocean from piers, bayside spots and rooftop locations near the water.
Over the course of the day, viewers usually see skyline lines, marinas, passing boats, harbor activity, open water and changing light over the coast. At times the feed highlights Shelter Island, Harbor Island and Oceanside, which gives it more movement than a single static webcam. It is a clear way to follow local weather, traffic on the bay and the overall visual atmosphere along the San Diego shoreline.
