Grupo Paranaíba de Comunicação is formed by TV Paranaíba and radio stations Paranaíba FM and Educadora FM. The latter is the oldest vehicle, which has operated in the AM segment since 1953 and in 2017 it migrated to FM debuting a new style of adult contemporary radio in Uberlândia. Paranaíba FM, leader in the country music segment since the 1980s, and TV Paranaíba, both founded in 1978, lend their name to the group.
TV Paranaíba has been affiliated with Record TV since 2003 and has a daring pioneering history. It was the first broadcaster with full color transmission in Uberlândia-MG, the first in the country to use microwave systems over 400 kilometers, the first in the Brazilian countryside to operate with satellite reception and also the first in the region to implement 100% HD programming in your broadcasts.
Based in Uberlândia-MG, the station takes its programming in a single signal to 89 municipalities in the Triângulo Mineiro region to the south of Minas, for a potential audience of 2.8 million viewers.
Local programming is generously dedicated to local and regional content, with more than 40 hours of own production per week, ranging from entertainment to information, through community agenda, political themes and public safety coverage.
