Fundação de Rádio e Televisão Educativa e Cultural de Viçosa – FRATEVI – established on January 2, 1990, with a legal personality governed by private law in force, non-profit, for the production and broadcasting of television programs, educational and cultural broadcasts television, thus contributing to the improvement of education at all levels and the culture of the region.
FRATEVI owns two channels: TV Viçosa Canal 13, launched on June 5, 1992 and Rádio Universitária FM 100.7, launched on August 29, 1996. In houses 42 and 43 of Vila Gianetti, on the UFV campus, studios installation of radio and television and administrative headquarters; through the cooperation and partnership agreement signed with the Federal University of Vila Gianetti, the transmitters are located in “Morodos Barbados””.
