Praça Dante Alighieri is the oldest and most traditional public place in Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, being located in the heart of the city. It was defined in the plan of the colony since the beginning of the occupation of the territory and was the scene of countless important events, having in its surroundings several historic buildings.
