Canal Saúde is a public television station, headquartered at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, whose mission is to produce content about health that contributes to the construction of citizenship among the Brazilian population. It is on the air daily through its own channel, with diversified programming, from 7 am to midnight. In addition to its programs, partner institutions and independent producers are included in the channel's schedule.
It is a television channel of the Unified Health System (SUS), created and managed by the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), available in the multiprogramming of TV Brasil, through channel 2.4, in Rio de Janeiro and Brasília and on channel 3.4, in São Paulo, in an open network in the Brazilian Digital TV System.
