The Vatican Television Centre, established in 1983, has become, since November 1996, a body linked to the Holy See for all purposes. The main objective of CTV is to contribute to making the Gospel universally known, documenting with television images the pastoral ministry of the Supreme Pontiff and the activities of the Apostolic See (Statute of 1 June 1998).
