REDE SDP TV was created at the end of January 2022 and aired on February 4 of the same year. The acronym SDP comes from the Som de Papo program/portal, a brand that has been in the market for over 4 years. REDE SDP TV is part of the same business group that manages the programs Som de Papo and Sextou Musical presented by Gilberto Romano, as well as the News Portal and Rádio Som de Papo.
