Praia do Cassino is a beach located between the cities of Rio Grande and Santa Vitória do Palmar. Its beginning is 22 kilometers from the city center of Rio Grande, at Molhes da Barra, where Lagoa dos Patos meets the sea. It is famous for its size, having already been considered the largest beach in the world - it still is if we consider next to Praia do Hermenegildo and Barra do Chuí, since there are no natural divisions.
