RTI 1 is a live general-interest television channel from Côte d'Ivoire and has long held a central place in the country's TV landscape. Also known as La Première, it brings together information, education and entertainment in a broad schedule designed for a national audience. It is the kind of channel where daily news sits alongside talk shows, reports, sports coverage, cultural segments and public-interest programming.
In its live feed, viewers often come across news bulletins, studio interviews, political and social discussions, coverage of national events and lighter programs tied to everyday life in Côte d'Ivoire. The pace shifts through the day, moving between harder news and more accessible general programming. For anyone trying to understand what a major Ivorian television channel looks like in practice, RTI 1 offers a clear mix of current affairs and mainstream broadcast content.
