TVI Reality Live

TVI Reality is the channel Portuguese reality fans keep on in the background. Whenever a season is running, it stays inside the house in real time, showing what TVI's weekly live shows and daily recaps can only summarise: kitchen conversations, tasks, parties, nominations, arguments and the alliances that change the game. If you follow Big Brother or Secret Story – Casa dos Segredos, this is where you see who is really playing whom.

Big Brother premiered in Portugal in September 2000, hosted by Teresa Guilherme, as the country's very first reality show; today it is presented by Maria Botelho Moniz. Secret Story, adapted from the French original, has been fronted over the years by Júlia Pinheiro, Teresa Guilherme and, more recently, Cristina Ferreira. The channel has also carried formats such as A Quinta, Love on Top and O Triângulo, and between seasons it brings back highlights and earlier editions.

Media Capital launched TVI Reality on 3 October 2015 as Portugal's first channel devoted entirely to reality TV, and it has broadcast in HD since 2019. Everything is in European Portuguese, so for fans abroad the live stream is the closest thing to moving into the house yourself.
