San Marino Rtv, public concessionaire for the radio and television service of the Republic of San Marino, was established in August 1991 with a share capital underwritten at 50% by ERAS (San Marino broadcasting body) and RAI. San Marino Rtv is currently part of the Italian-speaking Radio and Television Community and of COPEAM, the permanent conference of the Mediterranean audiovisual.
San Marino Rtv is a small autonomous reality, in a central position, extraordinary for its projections towards the Adriatic, but also for its nature of state radio and television within another state which, for the surrounding reasons, represents a almost unique strategic opportunity. An element on which to focus, thanks to the satellite, for an international projection useful for promoting universal image and values, such as democracy, solidarity, human rights, with particular reference to women, the elderly and young people. San Marino Rtv is visible throughout the Italian national territory on channel 831.
