Trace Gospel is a live music TV channel from the French group Trace, devoted to gospel music. Officially launched in France on 23 November 2015, in partnership with French gospel singer Piero Battery, the channel features a variety of gospel styles, such as R&B gospel and hip-hop gospel, as well as concerts and events, in slots such as "French Gospel", "Praise Vibes", "Gospel by Night" and "Sounds of Africa". Its schedule is made up mostly of back-to-back music videos, with playlists and charts of current hits, in the fast, visual style that defines the network's channels. Founded in 2002 by Olivier Laouchez, Claude Grunitzky and Richard Wayner and based in Clichy, in the Paris area, the Trace group specialises in Afro-urban cultures and runs around thirty TV channels, including Trace Urban, Trace Africa, Trace Caribbean and Trace Gospel, as well as radio stations and the Trace+ app, where the channels can also be watched. With the tagline "We Are Gospel Music", it is a good pick for anyone who wants to follow the hits and rising names of French, African and American gospel.
