CGTN French is a French-language live TV channel produced in China for an international audience. Its schedule is built around rolling news bulletins and regular updates on politics, business, society and major world events, presented through the wider CGTN network. It runs as a 24-hour channel, so the viewer usually finds a steady flow of headlines, studio segments and recorded reports instead of isolated blocks. Beyond the news cycle, the channel also carries interviews, talk segments, cultural features and magazine-style content about travel, food and everyday life. A large part of the coverage helps explain current affairs through a China-focused lens, while still touching on stories from other regions. That makes it useful for anyone looking for news in French with frequent context on China and its place in international affairs.
