Telenova is a live regional TV channel from Milan, in Lombardy, northern Italy, of Catholic inspiration. It was born in the late 1970s as an offshoot of Periodici San Paolo, publisher of the magazine Famiglia Cristiana, and today belongs to Multimedia San Paolo, part of the Gruppo Editoriale San Paolo, linked to the Società San Paolo congregation. Its aim, in the station's own words, is "parlare di tutto cristianamente", to talk about everything in a Christian way, with clear local news and room for viewers to take part by phone, messages and social media. The schedule features the TGN news bulletin, awarded at the 2011 TG d'Oro, the programme Linea d'Ombra, which received the Ambrogino d'Oro in 2016, and Novastadio, a football show created in 1989, as well as politics, motoring, religion and entertainment. Since 1999 it has broadcast from its base on via Guglielmo Silva and it is on channel 18 HD of digital terrestrial TV in Lombardy and nearby areas, with HbbTV and apps. It is a good pick for anyone who wants to follow Milan and Lombardy.
