TVRS Live

TVRS is a live regional TV channel from the Marche, in central-eastern Italy, with its historic base in Recanati and newsrooms in Fano and Ascoli Piceno as well. The name comes from TeleVisione Radio Sound, the station founded in 1979 by Father Dino Issini, and since July 2021 it has been owned by entrepreneurs Claudio Gabellini and Mariano Morosini, who in 2022 also bought the online newspaper YouTVRS. Its mission is "informare, approfondire e intrattenere": the schedule offers local news, politics, entertainment, medicine, sport and programmes such as Fatti e commenti, Benvenuti in TV, which tours the region's beaches, squares and villages, and the long-running La Nostra Gente, on air since 1980 with folk dancing, folklore and the fairs and festivals of the Marche. The channel is on 13 on digital terrestrial TV across the Marche and in parts of the provinces of Teramo and Rimini, as well as on the website and the MyTVRS app. It is a good pick for anyone who wants to follow life in the Marche.
