50 Canale Live

50 Canale is a live regional TV channel from Tuscany, Italy, with its operational headquarters in Pisa. Created in the first half of the 1980s by local entrepreneurs, the station was originally called R.T.P. Canale 50 (Radio Tele Pisa) and owes its name to UHF frequency 50, on which it broadcast. From the start it became a reference in the Pisa area for news, sport and popular events, with shows devoted to Pisa Calcio and to the "giugno pisano" festivities. The daily schedule is built on journalism and in-depth programmes about the activities of the area's institutions and associations, and 50 Canale's newscasts air at 2 pm, 7 pm and 8.30 pm. Thanks to the investments of recent years, the channel now broadcasts across the whole of Tuscany, on channel 18 of digital terrestrial television, in addition to its live online stream and on-demand programmes on the website. The station belongs to Canale 50 S.r.l., linked to Forti Holding S.p.A., and also has newsrooms in Empoli and Versilia.
