MBC 4 is the MBC Group's entertainment channel aimed mainly at women across the Arab world. Its schedule mixes dubbed Turkish drama series with shows and talk shows from the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, all subtitled in Arabic, plus lifestyle and reality programming.
The channel also makes its own Arabic shows, such as Stars of Science, a science and innovation reality series that has run for more than 14 seasons on MBC 4, and it aired an Arab version of The X Factor. In 2026 it promoted its broadcast of the 78th Emmy Awards. Turkish dramas, the channel's signature, were pulled in 2018 and again in 2023 over political tensions and later returned.
MBC 4 started on 1 February 2005 as a spin-off of MBC 2 and sits alongside MBC 1, MBC Drama and Al Arabiya in the group. For viewers in North Africa and the Gulf, and for anyone curious about what the Arab world watches in the evening, it is the place to start.
