BS TV strengthens community communication in Baixada Santista with local programming

BS TV emerged from the union of three non-state public broadcasters in the metropolitan region of Baixada Santista and developed as a collective focused on local community communication. Its structure brings together TV Vale das Artes in Peruíbe-SP, available on channel 1.3 of SAT TV A CABO, channel 8 and channel 11 of NET, TV Informação in Itanhaém-SP on channel 11 of NET, and TV Notícia in Mongaguá-SP, also on channel 11 of NET. These concrete regional roots give the channel a clear identity connected to specific cities and established distribution points.

As a collective, the station was designed to serve an audience of roughly 250 thousand people while strengthening regional and local communication. Shared management helps lower operating costs without undermining the production of programs centered on information, culture, entertainment, and community interests. That balance gives the project a practical foundation and explains why it stands out within Online TV focused on nearby realities instead of distant generic content.

Another defining aspect is its aim to build a strong local television service with relevant programs for the community while encouraging the emergence of new artists, new professionals, and new television projects. This gives BS TV a role that goes beyond simple transmission. It becomes a space where local voices can gain visibility and where Live TV can reflect the social and cultural fabric of the coast in a more direct way. The strong presence on social media also expands that reach and helps the collective maintain regular contact with viewers.

From Santos, São Paulo, BS TV represents a regional communication network built on cooperation, cost sharing, and community relevance. The link between Peruíbe, Itanhaém, and Mongaguá is central to its identity, and the idea of a collective is more than a label because it defines how the channel operates and what it prioritizes. By combining local information, cultural content, entertainment, and room for new talent, BS TV reinforces the value of regional broadcasting with recognizable ties to Baixada Santista.
